Sabine River 7/31/2016
Caught 14, kept 9.
Mainly used creature baits (Junebug, black/ red flake, watermelon/ red flake) flipped tight to tree trunks/ roots. After some quick pics, I released this little bruiser back to where she came. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...fe3917639a.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...5a63e8c474.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...6665569ee8.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...d665edb6c8.jpg |

Nice ! I went and snooped around a little this weekend, just driving around checking out launches and such. I think I'll be out there this weekend !
Is the launch under I-10 on the Texas side for public use? I only ever see two vehicles parked there.
Thats a solid fish you got there! good Job
The launch under I10 on the Texas side is for people with a low insurance deductible and full coverage on vandalism and theft. Drive another 5 minutes and launch on Simmons drive. It's probably a little over a mile away by water and it's a good ramp and patrolled by 5-0
I hear ya. I always expect to find my truck window bashed in when I get done fishing at the Burnt Bridge.
What part of the river you fishin?
North of I-10 mainly.
