I'm headed to Venice on the 23rd... I'm sure Reds are everywhere... Has anyone been targeting Specks??? I have never fished the Spillways down SW Pass... Does anyone have an opinion on the fishing in that area??? TIA...

I hear you, I've been watching the NOLA and it's just started dropping below five feet.... it's been bouncing from 4.7 to 5.5 for the past week.... Maybe that's saying they're stacking up at the close in rigs or Breton Sound Islands... They were in the bays last year towards the first week of September.... Ray...
