Marsh fishing????
 

What marsh is everyone fishing catching bass and blue catfish mixed in with reds and some trout? I used to catch like that in black bayou and back of Sabine refuge and black lake many years ago. Fished black lake some this year but no bass or blue cat. Been thinking about making a run to black bayou but such a long run. I see waltrip, Cajun paradise, bay hippie, and fishing toms guide service with bass and catfish mixed in. Anyway would be different.

I caught a 3lb bass in the black bayou marsh about 2 weeks ago, but was fishing for Reds, didn't find any Reds that day until heading a little further south into the marsh between turners and black bayou

There Is another black bayou off ICW that runs to back of Sabine Refuge I was talking bout. Used to put in at Vinton drain ditch but not much longer just to run from calcasieu point

I gotcha, I'm talking about the one just south of calc. Point, so not a bad run if you wanted to give it a shot on your way to or from turners

You can catch them in the black bayou, closer to Sabine. You have to know where to go. Caught reds,flounder, and bass from the same area plenty of times.
