Need help with Cummins diesel

If anyone knows of a mechanic who works on Cummins diesel engines, please let me know. We have a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 with 277,000 miles. It is our fishing/hunting truck. Went to lease with it a couple of months ago to do some work and it just died on us along with blowing some major black smoke. All of this only when it gets hot. Had to have it hauled back. Replaced injectors. Still not running right. Really need professional help now, but want to find a trusted mechanic. Let me know if you know of someone in the Lafayette area. Appreciate it!!

Still a 12 v right??
" getting hot" fan clutch will fix that, fuel pump or bad injectors!!that's not hard to believe with all of them out there.

Check with Terry's in Abbeville. Good, but not cheap.

Brian Habetz of Brian's Truck and Diesel in Duson at I-10 (behind Love's truck stop).
