LU Repair?

Can this be repaired or does it call for a new LU? If it can be repaired, who around the LC area can? Friends motor so do not know all the details. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...4f8013846d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...3353851347.jpg

Buddy of mine had his repaired a couple months ago. Looked almost identical. Just about any welding shop should be able to do it.

South side welding in Lake Charles can fix it.

easy fix cheap too . South side will build a weld for under 100 more than likely

Yep X2 on Southside Welding. They could do this in their sleep i'll bet.

Thanks fellas , southside has done a lot for me but it was always on my boat. Guess I'll send him some more business

I have welded worse than that before. It can be done fairly easy. Get some sand paper, primer, and a rattle can of touch up paint and I bet you will barely be able to tell.
