Anyone been on the river the last couple days? Wondering if it is fishable. Thinking bout going Saturday. Thanks

im going tomorrow . Ill let you know how it goes. I heard the dogfight Wednesday night only had 3 limit brought in out of 15 boats.

I launched out of white oak and fished mostly the back water areas. spinnerbaits and blk/blu crawworms were the ticket. Saw a few of those bigtimers out fishing. They were struggling. i ended up catching 8 and keeping 5 small ones for the fryer. biggest went 2.97.

Went back again today. WATER WASN'T MOVING AS IT WAS THE DAY BEFORE. WHICH RESULTED IN LESS BITES ON THE SPINNER BAIT. I HAD MY SON WITH ME AND HE STARTED CATCHING ON THE OL' SPEED CRAW WITH A 3/8 OZ WEIGHT. WE ALSO MANAGED 8 GOOGLE EYE AND KEPT 5 12-13 IN BASS. HE WAS HAPPY! HE HAS BEEN PRACTICING HARD WITH HIS NEW OPEN FACE REELS. TRYING TO BE GROWN TOO FAST! THERE WAS A LOT OF BOAT TRAFFIC ON THE WATER. DIDN'T SEE ANY OF THE BASSMASTERS LIKE I DID YESTERDAY.
