Blasting the Trout Again in Dularge

So far so good this weekend with the trout being the main event. Friday was Rick Logan and Riley Tehern for a fast and furious trout slam. The guys slammed the trout on the falling tide catching hundreds of fish with many not making the 12" cut. Today was Perrier Esquerre Contractors with a big group staying down at The Reel Inn. The morning began slowly with the incoming tide not moving many shrimp around but we picked away and boxed some keeper trout. Later in the day the tide began to fall and it was game on. Wrapping up this month, it has been the best September for trout fishing in the past 10 years or so. The shrimp are all over lower Terrebonne Parish in the lakes, bays, and bayous and the specks are gorging on them. Still hundreds and hundreds of small fish out there that will make for a good winter of trout fishing.
