Houston Boat Show today

Wife and I hit the boat show. We ate big time at Pappasito's for lunch and Saltgrass Steakhouse for Supper.
Between them, we hit the boat show. Got a few free thingys, but the best was 2 packs of Trout Killers from HR&G. Some purple and gold lures and some purple and opening night colored lures.
Bought a couple of them lure wraps also.
I was surprised that there wasn't more fishing stuff. We need a fishing show in Lake Charles. I saw a few offshore trolling lures and a few inshore lures, but still not as much as I thought there would be.
Saw a few nice boats too. We stayed around 4 hours. Diet Coke was $4.50 for a bottle. But I was dieing to get a drink.

Ray, My wife & I make it over to Houston 2-3 times a year ( my fishing buddy lives in Sugar Land ). Our First stop in is always Pappasito's and our last stop out is usually Cheese Cake Factory at the Gallaria.

Glad you had a good trip with your wife to the boat show. Doesn't look like I'll make it over this year.

on another note might try to hit Big Lake about Tuesday of this coming week.
You going to be aroung?

I was there from 1 pm to 5 pm. Saw another SaltyCajun/SaltyTexan, but
can't remember his name. We talked for a while, then I went about my
business of drooling over the boats.
