Waterloo

I'm looking at buying a Waterloo HP Lite. But the website doesn't give the action of the rod. Anyone that has one want to share some info about it, or their experience with the rod?

Buy 2....Awesome rods!!!

Talk to Carson!

cmdrost 06-02-2009 03:24 PM

buy the hp slam mag(if fishing for big trout or reds)

if you fish for schoolie trout, stick with hp lite. Waterloo makes great rods, you won't be dissappointed. Spend the extra money for the titanium guides!

I have the hp lite 6'9 and love the rod, recently purchased a carrot stix...does not even compare to the quality of the waterloo, talked to carson and gave him the exact specs i wanted...very easy to do business with...

I'm sure the Waterloo is a great rod. You guys say it is so I believe ya. However, for half the price, right now you can get Falcon's Cenderi at a closeout price of $99. That's more than 50% off retail and it's got all the bells 'n' whistles of the higher end blanks.

salty, can you find that rod around lake charles for that price???

Now, I could'a posted that the Waterloo "won't hold a candle to that Cenderi"...but, since I've never even seen a Waterloo.....I'll let the guys make up there own mind. Since you don't have a Cenderi...maybe you should do the same. :)

I was fishing with my new Faclon Cenderi one day. I was fishing by an old sunk tractor. I must have casted and drug the bait over the axle because when the bait "rubbed' over the axle, I was able to read what the serial number was on that axle like "brail".... Thats how sensitive they are..

I also felt a bream fart with it once.

Salty 06-03-2009 10:22 AM

The Cenderi is so sensitive that when I'm working that Bomber...you can not only feel the rattles...you can count 'em. :)
