More Big Lake Reds 2/6/10
 

Me and longcast when out today around 8:00 started up north fishing for trout around some flats,no luck.The wind was ripping pretty good out of the northwest.So we went to the first set of weirs and caught a 2 man limit of reds. We had to work to get a limit,tide was ripping in. Caught them on shrimp,black/chartruse jerk jr's,and gulp swimming mullet in chartruse. We had a good day on the water even though we didn't get into any trout. Met Jordan and his podna at calcasieu point,nice to meet yall bro.

i had a great time fishing with you today.we did have to work for them though.we will do it again soon.hope to meet more saltycajuns in march.now i am going to sit daown and watch some old guys fight.UFC.

We caught our limit as well and started cullin out reds. Think we caught about 30 more after our limit. Nice to meet u longcast and montauk17 as well. Next time bring u some zip locks. I woulda fillet'd ur reds for ya if u had a bag to put them in bro.

Thanks for the offer...we were not sure if we were launching at heberts or not so i didnt bring anything to clean them.

We just about finished up when ya'll came back. Nice elbow bumps by the way, the fish cleaning gloves were slimy and bloody.

nice ,the reds are getting alittle easy to catch, looking for more of a challenge , might try to catch some sac-a lait in the morning.
