if i dont go get it the neighbor shovels it in my yard and i feel bad cause i know my dog did it. It kinda looks like human crap he weighs 110lbs.

adamsfence 02-11-2010 09:31 PM

put a shock collar on it mine has the ones that when they get to far from the house it lites them up works well

calcutta37 02-11-2010 09:35 PM

The underground cable works well, just a pain the azz to put down. I used a edger & went all the way around the yard (1acre) I won't ever do that again! I'll try the wireless next time!

This all comes down to training g........my kids left the back yard gate open over the weekend......I didn't notice till today......not one time did my dogs leave the backyard......they are out all day while I'm at work........spend more time training boundaries.........Tim

Ive had both, I now just have the wireless. The one in the ground worked good, but was a pain to lay and also a pain to find the break if the wire ever broke.

I remember leaving a doors open on the house. I got trained by my dad. After the belt a couple times across the rear:cry:, he had me open and close the door for about 3 hours and wave to the cars as they passed. Never forgot to close the door again, even if it he wanted it to stay open I closed it out of fear of a new training lesson.
