Travis Miller and I hit the water at sunrise looking for reds. It only took one stop to put our 10 reds on ice. We played catch and release catching another 15 - 20 fish all on plastic baits. We left the reds biting almost every-cast. Most of our fish were caught on Fishbites Extreme Scent Release Baits, while the last 10 were caught on Saltwater Tackle Halographic Minnows with a slow steady retrieve. Headed back to the dock early to spend the rest of the day with the wives!! If your looking for reds, now is the time. Good luck fishing! Capt. Very Dreamy!
Here in Jacksonville, Florida that day would have people rioting at the boat ramp!!
Our water's 48-55 degrees right now, and hardly a bite can be had.....let alone whackin & Stackin like that. Now if I could only...................... M-O-V-E!!!!!!!!!! Read that article of Chris Ginn's, about double rig jigs. Maybe not using "double rigs" is my problem, huh? (LOL) I believe a "dropper loop" knot, would be better than the knot/connection I read in that article. www.captdaves.com |
