Cancun is fun if your 18. The Bahamas are nice.

I looked at cruise prices and it's cheaper to do an all inclusive deal from the looks of it...same price as cruises...and you got to pay for alcohol on the ship...we cruise in January or March...cheap, cheap, cheap

mayan riviera is nice. lots of scenery, ruins etc. Its more secluded for peace and privacy but only about an hour bus ride from cancun and the endless parties. All depends on what your lookin for. Heard Grand Cayman is really nice. Let us know what you decide!

Not if you bring your own!!!!!!!!

Mexico

I've been to both. Both places are very enjoyable. Cancun beaches to me were more enjoyable and Cancun was a bit more touristy. Sunsets in P.V. are unreal. One caveat is to stay away from Cancun during spring break. I would persoanally lean more toward Cancun but if there's any big price difference, then P.V. would be fine also.

No question........Costa Rica is the place.
We are headed to St. John that time.......a little pricey......but smaller and more private.

For a easy trip (customs ) you can't beat a cruise. We went out of Galveston last time. It was great

I just watched "couples retreat" last night.......make sure you get the east island!!!!!

We stayed at Los Suenos in Costa Rica. Super nice. Great food and great drinks.
Billfishing was $1000/day on a 32 ft. Albamarle. Different boats had different prices.
We fished with a company called Costa Rica Dreams.
I also fished aobut 20 miles S. of Cancun out of Puerto Morelos for $300/day.
Just show up at the town dock and get in a boat. First come first serve. No reservations.

lol I was gonna say something to that effect. I googled the place they shot that movie at. It was the St. Regis Resort in Bora Bora, I looked up prices and the cheapest room was around $1200.....A NIGHT!!! That place sure is beautiful though, you fly in then they pick you up by boat to bring you to the island.

If you want all inclusive go Mexican Riviera (Cancun area) and take your pick, or look into the El Conquistador in San Juan, PR..

If you want off the beaten path, go Central, Costa Rica, Panama, no doubt..

speck-chaser 02-24-2010 12:06 PM

Bluefields Bay villas, Jamaica.

Costa Rica was nice, fishing was great!

Cabo is party central! Fishing - ok

Cancun/Cozumel - nice, scuba diving is better than fishing.

Without a doubt, Mazatlan Mexico is the best of all worlds! Please do yourself a favor and check it out. No worries about crime, beautiful city w/ lots of history and tourist attractions, great resturants, great fishing, great beaches, just all around best bang for your buck! Make sure you go to the catherdral if you make it there, especially if your a catholic. Awesome trip!
