Has anyone tried these. They look pretty good for a very reasonable price of $6. I typically use the mirroe lure line of top waters but I am thinking of trying these.

topwater bite should start this week

They look good, but the one I seen made so much noise, it would only be good for rough weather days.
I don't like really loud topwater lures.

They make 2 versions. One for windy/choppy days and one for calm days which is alot quieter according to what Bill Dance said on his show:D

When did it stop?

PUREBAY2200 03-09-2010 05:27 PM

If u change hooks get same size and weight..... Heavier hooks will sink this bait and make it impossible to work.

Jordan 03-09-2010 05:58 PM

Duh Chris...... U thunk that up all by yourself?

Waterbowl 03-09-2010 06:04 PM

I use the small bone color one all the time. If you do put a heaver hook on the back only it will make the back dip but for winter slow retrieve it works well. Don't over work the small one
