Best day fishing and didn't catch a fish
 

I wasn't sure where to post this because I have to plug the guy who showed me the time of my life. I got to Breton Sound Marina this morning late at 10:30. I payed to launch my boat when a guy walked in to pay his launch fee. I noticed his boat outside was a flats boat made for fly fishing. I asked if he was going fly fishing and told him that was my plan as well. Long story short he invited me to go fishing with him. We got out of to the flat where we fished and immediately starting seeing giant redfish. I got to cast to at least 25 redfish. I got two hookups but couldn't get them to the boat. I will tell you that for me there was has never been a more exciting fishing trip in my life. Standing in that boat watching reds come at you knowing that you have to make the perfect cast is the most exhilarating thing I have ever done. This trip was exactly what I needed to experience to tell me that a fly fishing guide is definitely what I want to do the rest of my life. I would like to thank Rocky Thickstun for the best day I have ever had on the water.

Man let me tell you....that was one of the best times of my life. I am not a real big plug guy when it comes to this site but I had to give this guy some credit. He let me fish all day and push poled me around for free.
