Pioneer used to be the best plasama but have stopped producing TVs...Panasonic is a close second if not right in line with Pioneers regular line.

I love my Pioneer plasma and always get compliments...no motion blur etc...

If you intend on watching Blu ray or high def cable then you want 1080p otherwise you will not see much differnece in 720 and 1080. Actually they say 720 is better for sports and fast moving objects.
