I fished out of some Panga style boats in Mexico, Costa Rica and Curacao. They are dry riding and take some rough water. Lots of Latin American countries use them for close in fishing.

The 18 ft skiffs are not bad at all....casting deck height is just as high as most bay boats...comparing to the hydra-sports bay bolt 22ft etc. Now when you move up from there to the 22ft pangas and bigge..r front end is a lil too high for me too. I actually like the layout of the Andros front deck over Panga Marines. Not really digging the Elpescador...
