As I sat in my home yesterday morning, as I was off of work and responding to work emails, the windows of my house were shaken by the Blue Angels.

I am blessed to have such a wonderful group of aviators fly over my home when they practise.

Most practise days I am at work long before they do so and my wife gets to enjoy the thrilling sounds within my home.

But on this special day, Good Friday, when the Son of our Father, Jesus, gave his life to wash us clean of our sins, I also get to hear the sound of brave souls that also give their lives to keep us safe from harm.

Please take a moment and reflect, knowing that we are all blessed with these two great events in our lives.

My the Peace of the Lord be with you and the Knowledge of Security by the brave men and women of the military be recognized by all.
