I mean me personally, I would think so. Only thing is if they eat it while feeding. I mean the fish can get away from it in most cases but who knows. maybe they not that smart, may just deal with it till they die. but I think anything on the top will be hurt more than the bottom, but Im far from a biologist so anyone else?
