when you jailbreak you assume the risk
back to the topic,
it is much easier to do on a mac, so if you know someone with a mac, it takes all of 8-9 minutes for a full jailbreak
i loved having mine jailbroken, opens it up to a whole new world.
plus you get all the app store apps for free.
