LOL 2 years? it sounds like u got your money's worth out of that spool
only way i can get line to last 2 years is to put it in the closet for 1 year and 9 months.

the only time I use swivels is on a carolina rig and I personally dislike swivels because they create the need for an extra knot, which means another weak point in my line
..
For braid to mono/fluoro i just use a uni-uni splice knot, it has yet to fail me.
Give me 50# power pro on my 7'11" heavy crucial in lacassine and it don't matter if it's 2lbs or 22lbs.... it's comin MY WAY!
