I have been wearing stocking foot neoprene waders with tie up boots for years and love them. But my pair is torn up so I will be getting a pair of waders for Christmas. Just not sure what to go with since I want to do some wade fishing this winter/spring.

Do you guys on the lake like neoprene for wade fishing or do they make it difficult to walk for long periods of time? I love my neoprenes, but sitting in a duck blind isn't the same as walking a oyster reef!
I tried wade fishing in neoprenes last year and thought the experience was terrible - walking through the mud and muck with limited range of motion. IMO the breathables are definitely the way to go!
