Back to BUSTIN up the trout!! Had to cancel a couple trips due to illness over the past few days, so I had to make a scouting trip to see what was up. Good friends Chris Venable and Travis Miller joined me this morning for a quick Trout SMACKDOWN. Our second stop had the yellow-mouths hitting the deck every cast. Beautiful fish from 1.5 - 2 pounds. Good as it gets even in the wind!!! We were done by 8:30 but scouted several other areas before calling it a day. If you find protected banks you can still find clean water with plenty bait, always keep an eye out for the birds as they will let you know the fish are there. Thanks guys for a splendid morning of fishing.
