when i use braid, its usually 40# or 50# just because of its thicker diameter.. i find that it doesn't bury as bad as the thinner stuff. i also use a 17 or 20lb fluoro leader.
about a month ago i got a spool of the new fins xs 8-strand braid. it retained its color so far, but it seems to be coming apart or unwound.
pretty lame for braid that costs $40 for 150 yards! good thing i got it free as a sales rep sample!
