Dularge Reds & Trout!
Dead-eye Chris and I decided to give up on the deer hunting. We headed down to the DU to whack some fish. First stop was easy limits of redfish, man was the bite on big time! I tagged and released 18 reds after reaching our limit. Our second stop was loaded with hungry trout and we wasted no time filling the box with 14-18 inch fish. Glo/chartreuse and blue back swim baits did the job. Chris caught his fish on a chartreuse sparkle beetle under a cork. We only fished 2 1/2 hours today and we left the fish biting. Most people are reporting great catches of fish this weekend. Looking forward to our MLK fish fry tomorrow. Good luck fishing.
