Every fish caught is breeding stock if you think about it. Every fish of legal size is big enough to breed the next season whether they are 14" or 30" fish. No science says big fish breed other big fish. Big fish are OLD fish, simple as that. IF big fish bred big fish, then with ALL this catch and release crap that has been going on with bass fishing in the last 20 years or so, wouldn't the world record be broken at least once a year. The record was set by an old man in Georgia a LONG time ago, and he ATE IT
