SAC-A-Lait Bite Going Strong!
Good Sac-a-lait Bite!
A beautiful day in the Terrebonne cypress swamps. Stiff winds caused us to go to plan B. Instead of fishing the open marsh we decided to get in the trees for some protection. It was the right move as Capt Gerald Ellender and I busted up the sac-a-lait. We caught 65 nice fish in about 4 hours and left them biting. Tube jigs under a cork as usual. We caught every fish along the base of a cypress tree or a submerged stump. Big fun today! Might not never go back to trout fishing. LOL Can't wait for our next adventure. Good luck fishing.
