I'm running a 14 pitch powertech reb. I believe it has some cup from the factory. Turning it 4500 rpm.

If the motor is in good running condition you might need a different prop. Another thing to look at is the motor height. The cavitation plate should be just about level with the bottom of the boat. This also depends on if you are running a jack plate or not.

I'm running a jack plate with 7.5 inches of setback. Cavitation place is between 1-1.5 inches above the boat bottom. I'm taking it to a friend's house tomorrow. He's got a neighbor that's pretty familiar with suzuki's. I'm going to let him run it and check the setup and see what he thinks about it.
