Cheers Dularge INSANE SMACKDOWN 4-24-2011

Day 2 with Jim and Lance Thompson had us pulling out the Reel In Fishing Lodge before daybreak. We went straight back deep into the marsh where we found the trout the day before. With such strong winds its a must to find protected areas with clean water. WOW is all I can say, what a hour difference makes!!! Dropped the power pole and it was FISH ON, BURN HACK, HOOPS and HOLLERS non stop for two straight hours!! The fish were eating like there was no tomorrow. Can I say easy as it gets, I think my 11 month old could have caught fish today!!! LOL Trout every-cast flying into the boat with reds and flounder mixed in. Unreal, we caught right at 100 trout (with the throwbacks), 5 reds, and 12 flounder before the PP was lifted. All plastic as usual,as it Didn't matter what you threw (the trout were eating like piranhas again!!!!). Only took one more stop to get our remaining 10 reds as we found them stacked up in a bayou with good moving current. We were headed back to the camp around 12:00 as the guys arms were tired from reeling in all the fish. Big thanks again to Capt Bob Lake for setting up this trip with Jim and Lance. They are going home with PLENTY fillets!! Day 3 today, Capt Ryan Young put them on another Trout Smackdown. Thanks Jim and Lance for a Absolutely amazeing time, have a safe trip back to Oklahoma.
