Not sure about the 20, but the Z22, and Z24 both ride as good, or better that many other bay boats. Being that it is a 20, I'm sure you will lose some comfort rather than a 22 or 24, but ShearWater is a very reputable boat with a great fit an finish, and I would be suprised if the Z20 did not perform at least as well or better than comparable boat brands.
