oh and the bad thing about catouache is that there really isn't any secret spots out there because you will see where everyone is fishing and there will be boats were the fish are, I fished the island one a.m. with 6 other boats, I fished it fast, waking a spinnerbait caught more and covered more area, which you can do when the water is higher, if its low, punch a beaver threw the grass because the grass will be matted on the surface of the water and its the only thing you can throw other than a frog which is a great a.m. bait in the summer!
