for another company, i would put i had at least a year experience as helper....helpers come and go, but a good helper will get put to good use..depending on how you play your cards, i've gotten 18/hr for being a helper. but that's 1 helper(me) and 8 painter/blasters to tend to

then again, i've also been a painter/blaster for 16/hr. gotta take what you can.

Danos has a real good safety record also, they also take care of their employees.. plus if you live far, they have pretty nice bunk houses. and i believe they are real good on per diem, even for training classes and stuff
