You can fish either with either license you just cant enter into bayous , cuts etc on either side. Texas and LA just passed new legislation that all waters that are bordered by either state have the same fisihng laws now size, numbers, everything. This line starts at the I-10 bridge on the sabine river anything south of there is just like the old laws were. Texas and LA have seperate laws south of I-10 concerning fish
