When Hurricane Francis hit Mexico, Cameron had 4 ft. of water on the main street in town. Water also went over levees in Hackberry and flooded some impoundments.
If the storm is a big one, we can get higher than normal tides, but don't have to worry about winds.
I also saw that McAllen only had like 1/2 inch rain. They were praying for more.
