Many of the financial preferreds are selling at a nice discount to their call price, examples - DTT, DTK, GS .PR.B , BCS.PR.C, MSK, AEF. I buy mainly investment grade pref'ds that are eligible for the 15 percent tax rate. Yields currently ranging from 7 to 9 percent.
