An update:

Wyatt has made tremendous leaps in the last few days. They have him on full feeds of breast milk meaning he no longer needs IV fluids. They are adding calories to the milk to beef him up for his next attempt at cpap. Wyatt is starting to tolerate being touched and is just all around more stable. We weighed him tonight and he is 1 pound and a little over 14 ounces. He is now 13 1/4 inches and his head has increased in circumference. The doctors have taken out the permanent feeding line that was in his leg and he gets the only meds he is on, orally. The doctor told us this is a big step. Absolutely a great weekend and a ton of things to be thankful for! In fact, I was comfortable enough to leave town and duck hunt yesterday. I killed my first big duck, a feat since I have only big duck hunted three times. It was a grey duck but I'll take it.
