Every 16' boat we have set up is about 2-4 mph slower than a 15' of the same make. Unless you absolutely have to have that extra foot, 15' is faster.

Yep D. Same thing happened to me. Every weld broke and 2' split right down the middle and I almost sank. Would not advise buying a weldbuilt after my experience.
