Finished painting the unit yesterday. Turned out remarkably well considerin' I had no idea what I was doin'.
I water sanded it today with 1000# sandpaper and, hopefully, I'll be able to find the glaze/polish I need tomorrow so I can buff it. While it is somewhat rewarding to know that I did this myself.....I doubt I'll ever tackle another one.
