Additional information: LDWF would usually announce Spring Shrimp Season between late April and early May to set the opening dates for May. And, the Fall Shrimp Season is also announced by LDWF around early August to set the opening dates for August. LDWF would actually announce to set the closing dates between in the middle of June and early July for Spring Shrimp Season and around December for Fall Shrimp Season.
