It is still a reasonably shallow boat, handles sloppy seas better than most pad boats, easy to clean, fast hull, and fuel efficient. My biggest complaint about the boat is that if I were fishing the beach in Grand Isle or going out more than 15 miles I would prefer a deeper boat but that would also usually make it slower and impact the draft of the boat.
