Planning a yaking trip to the bend in a couple weeks. Doing it on the cheap with tent & yak. What would be the best location for this type trip. Looking at Cypress Bend Park, South & North Toledo State Parks, San Miguel etc... Mostly concerned with access to protected waters away from boat traffic and safe place to camp.
