Default Shakshuka

Now that you have figured out how to say it ,i'll explain it a bit before i give the recipe.
shakshuka is a middle eastern dish that one of our SMF members from south Africa cooked at the gathering in Florida a few weeks ago.
I brought it home and put the gris gris to it and WOW!!!
this recipe is for 4 people.
1 med onion (rough chopped)
1 bell pepper ( rough chopped )
2 clove garlic diced fine
1 lg can of diced tomatoes w/ green chillis
Cumin ,salt pepper (to taste)
1 tsp oil
1lb small shrimp or cut up lg shrimp
4 eggs.
1 diced jalapeno pepper
Put oil in a skillet and sautee onions, bell pepper , garlic and jap till soft
add can tomatoes and seasoning and simmer for 15 min. stirring occasionally.
add shrimp and stir. simmer another 15 min. If it gets to dry add a little water. crack each egg seperately and once mixture has thickened up make a well in the mixture and add egg in each well cover skillet untill eggs are done .(yolk should still be runny.)
serve over some thick cheese grits !! Cest ce bon!!!
Oops i also added about a Tbsp of sirracha to the dish.
