For some reason I thought I could turn it on when I started a trip and turn it off when I left but it takes a lot of time/processing power to go through an hour + of footage. I feel like start/stop filming is a lot easier with a camcorder but that may just be my personal preference.
Also, your computer makes a big difference in editing capability. I run a Mac and the software is very easy to use. I am sure there are good programs for Windows or Winstons, depending on what you use.
