Hard to go wrong with an 870 which IMO is the AK of shotguns. You can beat it, abuse it, dirty it, talk dirty to it
and it will keep on trucking. I've seen several benellis fail and saw a brand new winchester fall apart almost right out of the box. It ain't sexy but at the end of the day you know it's going to shoot.
