Yes sir its been limits of trout and reds 2-3 days a week in upper Barataria. The week of July 4th I limited 7 days strait with many more, that went back in the drink to swim another day. 
Although fishing is coming to an end for me after the middle of august Its time to get ready for chaseing hair and feathers. It'll be chasing specks and reds after teal & duck hunts, and bass after october bowhunts  !

My brother tells me the pretty water is in close with dolphin under grass mats inside 10 miles. I guess the low river flows help.
