Advice......get with an experienced shooter and learn all you can from them.

Find out where there is any kind of group that shoots on a regular basis in your area and go there to learn from them.

Don't set the draw weight to what you "can" pull back. Set the weight to what you can comfortably pull back. If you have to strain a little to pull the string back, that is too much draw weight. You don't need 70 lbs and 300 fps to kill a deer.

Make sure that you bow is properly tuned. Test it your self,. Don't rely on "that guy at the shop set it up" so it is ok. Do a search on "Bow tuning" to learn more. If something on the bow is out of adjustment....even just a tiny bit, your arrows will not fly correctly.
