This was true for a number of hospitals already in LA... YOU as a patient would want this. it ensures that you are getting the quality care you deserve. You wouldnt want a hospital rating 2/5. this gives the hospital incentives to pickup in areas they are lacking. If this should happen then core quality management measures need to be taken to ensure the patient is happy. With this in mind, it is the hospitals responsibility to remove error from the equation. This movement is refered to as the "just culture" movement.

P.S. as you already know from your wife... nurses get paid jack **** for the service they provide.... atleast in LA. if the pay scale goes any lower I would expect a drop off in the numbers enrolling in that ciriculum. atleast I wouldnt be motivated if this were true.
