Good as it gets Down in Dularge, as the November bite is off the charts. Randy & Kathy Davis are back down from Shreveport to get in on the magnificent trout bite. Leaving out of the Reel Inn Lodge had us reeling in trout at 5:50 this morning!! The big yellow mouths were hitting the HLT Swimmer Jr's like there was no tomorrow!! We had over 20 fish hit the deck of the Blue-Wave before 6 am. Once it got daylight the bite switched over to Matrix Shad Tiger baits under a cork.Once the bite slowed down and switched to a falling tide it was back to the HLT Swimmer Jr's...All colors produced fish today as the trout were eating them up. Good as it gets Down in Dularge as November is one of the best months to fish. The A-Team in it self had 10 boats on the water over the past 4 days with over 1000 trout hitting the fish cleaning tables. I won't nit-pick and add the numbers of fish my friends caught also because it would be too many to count!!!! Now through January is the best time to get out on the water!! Big thanks to my crew today, it's always a pleasure fishing with this lovely couple.
The Reel Inn Lodge is alive and kicking this week with a big 20 man crew living it up on the bayou. We had a great time tonight eating, drinking, socializing, and just being at peace....Incredible time!!! Give us a call to experience a time of your life!
