Of coarse I did not look like Jesse James with my piece hanging off my side. I kept it concealed. A little common sense goes a long way.
Besides, I have a hard enough time killing a deer with a bow or a rifle.....there is no worries of me hitting one with a handgun lol....

Having a CCW allows you to "CARRY" a pistol, including on a WMA. You are allow to "defend" yourself when in imminent danger.

ARE NOT allowed to hunt on a WMA with a pistol unless there is a season open which allows this caliber to be used.
