this just shows people don't know there rights, If you are ever questioned about a crime, tell the cops you plan on cooperating with them but you need time before you make a statement, take a couple days consult with a lawyer before you ever make a statement. Even if you are taken into custody, still most people are in shock and emotional and make comments and say things that incriminate them even when they're not guilty.
